Admissions Office Welcomes Two New Staffers
The Garland School welcomed two new staff members in the Office of Enrollment and Alumni Services: Krysta Long and Emily Corntassel.
As the Recruitment and Student Services coordinator, Krysta engages prospective students throughout the recruitment cycle and provides support for current students and alumni. She also promotes the GSSW at regional recruitment events and is the first point of contact for inquiries, students, and alumni. Krysta holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from UTA, a master's degree in Student Development and Leadership in Higher Education from Angelo State, and is the proud mother of Jaida.
Emily is the assistant director of Admissions. She works closely with the director implementing strategies to increase enrollment of the GSSW programs, meaningfully engage alumni, and create programs to aid in the professional development of current GSSW students. Emily holds a BA in Strategic Communications from OSU. She is married to Cody Corntassel, athletic trainer for the China Spring Independent School District.
